Random Rant for the Day

This is just a random question but why do some of my fellow college students feel the need to talk with an accent other than their own?

I mean, I am proud of my British heritage too but I certainly have never felt the need to talk as if I am from the United Kingdom.

Be proud of who you are as a person but please stop trying to pretend you are someone you are not. Plus, your accent gets very annoying especially when it really isn't that good.

But, if you are intrigued by great speeches then I suggest you check out Charlie Chaplin's last speech in his 1940 film "The Great Dictator".

It is quite powerful and moving.
