The Passing of a Basketball Legend

The game of professional basketball has lost one of its legends. However, unlike most basketball legends, this man never scored a point in the NBA.

Arnold "Red" Auerbach - the man who led the Boston Celtics to sixteen NBA championships as a coach and executive - passed away yesterday at the age of 89.

His unfortunate passing is very saddening to Celtics and basketball fans alike. He will be missed but his legend will live on in the minds of basketball fans and coaches forever.
